Preparation Guide

LET’S HAVE FUN! Above all, this should be fun! This is your moment, and your session is dedicated to you, and you alone. :)

WARDROBE: For Premium (60 minute) session, I recommend have 3-4 outfits, for Standard (30 minute) sessions, I recommend 2-3 and for Mini sessions, I recommend 1-2.

Please be sure all clothing is dry cleaned, ironed, or at least wrinkle free. My software can remove some wrinkles but not all of them, and there will be a per-image editing cost of at least $50 for heavy wrinkle removal.

For senior sessions, I recommend having a homecoming/prom suit or formal dress, a favorite casual outfit and then one from your high school or college to show your school spirit!

HAIR & MAKE-UP: I recommend scheduling professional hair and makeup appointments for

earlier in the day. A fresh blow out and a professional makeup application goes a long way when being photographed! You want to feel your best and this is definitely a time to treat yourself!

SPRAY TAN: If you are planning to get a spray tan please exfoliate well and do a trial before

our portrait day. If you have streaks, white under arms, orange hands and toes, you WILL see them

in the photos. My best advice - skip the spray tan all together!

NAILS: Your hands will be in the photos. Make sure you don't have chipped polish. I 

recommend going with a neutral nail color that will match all your outfits!

SHAVING: Guys, please make sure to come with a clean shave the day of your photos. Stubble

cannot be retouched out. 

GATHER AND CLEAN PROPS: Musical instruments/cars/bikes should be shiny!

POSING: Don't worry about posing - I'll guide you through everything!

ARRIVE EARLY! Planning to arrive 10-15 minutes early will ensure that we get started right on

time and maximize all of our scheduled shooting time!
